“Is NAIS Strengthened By Passive Citizens”

… For A NAIS BreakOut!
By Ray Hill

As I went about the evening chores and feeding of our horses, the wind was stiff and chilled.

I glanced towards a gray sky, and saw our sixty (60’) foot Cottonwood Tree bare of leaves. I turned and saw the Weeping Willow nearly fifty percent bare. To the south of our property, the largest oak reached high, whipped in the wind, and still maintained all of it’s leafs.

It struck me, how much we as Arabian horse people resemble these trees.

Oh, we all love our horses, but we’re affected differently and our actions may not be the same. Some of us will ponder an action, another will methodically move into an action, and another will immediately launch into getting the job done!

That’s not a bad thing, but eventually, we need to take action or regret not doing so.

As I made my way about and delved out flakes of hay, I wondered about the care takers of the Arabian horse within the U.S., and more specifically how they would individually take action against NAIS, the National Animal Identification System.

… Would we stand up to the chill and stiff wind like the Cottonwood, the Weeping Willow, or the Oak?

Soon, I was cleaning and filling the horse buckets with fresh water…

The truth is the truth, at least the truth to me: Most Americans are trusting and gentle, considerate and giving, but few take action against such things as NAIS because they find it hard to believe that the United States Department of Agriculture would support a monstrosity such as NAIS.

Yep, most folks just don’t believe it will happen. After all, our government is not a dictatorship nor out to do harm to it’s citizens.

… Water was spilling onto the stall floor, because I was dreaming, just like many American citizens. A wake up was easy to reach, as I recalled many of the things our own (FDA) Food and Drug Administration has unleashed into millions of households.

The hard truth is, NAIS and the FDA no longer traveling the road of original goodness. They tromp through the Birch, the Weeping Willows, and the Oak and carry a big AXE!

NAIS means to boldly become the law of the land by 2009!

If you read my previous article titled: “Is The NAIS Iceberg Grinding At American Freedoms”, you’re already aware of many reasons why we must avoid the NAIS AXE.

NAIS is NOT tromping amongst us for reasons of goodness, but for reasons of greed, and NAIS will become a growing arm of multiple dictatorships unless we befall NAIS first!

At heart, war is not what Arabian enthusiasts are about, but we do battle or we fall!

Our fall is not all that’s at stake. Preservation of the Arabian horse is at stake as well, plus the tranquility of millions of other unsuspecting pet owners across the country.

Everyone that has ever taken your horse or pet to the vet, may have potentially been registered with NAIS, without their permission!
